The Agni Veiga Series Intelligent Addressable Network Communication Card (FAP-3002) is engineered to enable seamless,secure, and long-distance communication between multiple fire alarm control panels and repeaters. This communication card allows up to 16 nodes on a singe bus and supports communication distances of up to 1200 meters, depending on speed and cable conditions. The RS485 topology is best suited for bus, ring, or daisy-chain layouts, helping avoid signal reflection issues associated with star wiring.Â
Designed for easy integration, the Comms PCD plugs directly into the control panel’s main motherboard and includes a socket for reconnecting the display board ribbon cable.
