Description

The Universal Air Smoke sampling Duct Detector Enclosure is designed to detect smoke inside HVAC and ventilation ducts before it spreads to other areas of a building. Installed directly on air ducts, the enclosure continuously samples airflow through specially designed inlet and outlet tubes to monitor smoke particles inside ventilation systems.

This early smoke detection mechanism prevents smoke generated from fire from circulating through air-conditioning ducts and reaching unaffected areas of a facility. The system supports both conventional and intelligent addressable smoke detectors, allowing flexible integration with most fire alarm systems. 

The enclosure is constructed using high-strength ABS plastic and features a transparent front cover, enabling easy inspection of the installed smoke detector without opening the housing.

Designed from reliable performance in HVAC environment, the detector enclosure operates effectively at airflow speeds ranging from 0.2 m/s to 20 m/s, making it suitable for commercial buildings, hospitals, shopping malls, factories, and large infrastructure projects. 

The device include a 250 mm sampling tube and standard with additional tube length available for wide ducts. These tubes incur proper airflow through the detector chamber for accurate smoke detection and enhance fire safety.
