Constructed with durable polycarbonate housing and acoustic ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), the device supports wall and ceiling mounting. It operates reliably in ambient temperatures from -10 °C to 55 °C with humidity levels below 95% (non-condensing).

This Exit Point Navigator Sounder ensures precise directional exit guidance, such as stair door left or right announcements, improving emergency evacuation efficiency and safety compliance.

How it Works

How does the Agni Exit Point Navigator Work?

The Agni Adam Voice Alarm Series Plus Exit Point Navigator Sounder operates as an intelligent voice evacuation device within a fire alarm system. It not only produces a loud audible alarm but also delivers clear multilingual evacuation instructions to guide occupants safely.

Commonly Used

  • Corporate Office Building
  • Hospital Environment
  • Industrial Facility
  • Shopping Mall

Step-by-Step Exit Point Navigator Working Principle?

01

Signal from Fire Alarm Control Panel

When smoke, heat, or manual call points trigger the fire alarm system, the fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) sends a signal through the powered loop (24...42 V DC) to the Exit Point Navigator Sounder.

02

Built-in Power Amplifier Activation

The sounder's built-in power amplifier activates immediately. Because it is compatible with any system, integration remains seamless within existing fire alarm setups.

03

Message Selection via PC Programming

The device selects the pre-programmed audio message configured through intelligent PC software. It supports: 20 programmable audio messages, 5 different languages, Separate programming for alarm, evacuation, and test alerts, 8 adjustable volume levels.

04

Voice + Tone Output (90 dB Speech Alarm)

The sounder delivers a 90 dB speech alarm combined with signaling tones if configured. the synchronous trigger feature ensures multiple sounders operate together for uniform evacuation messaging across the building.

05

Directional Exit Guidance

Instead of only sounding a siren, the device can announce clear evacuation instructions such as stair direction guidance (left/right exit navigation), improving evacuation clarity and reducing panic.

06

Protection & Monitoring

The system continuously supports: Short circuit protection, Open circuit detection, Low power consumption (55 μA @ 19 V DC). This ensures reliable operation even under emergency conditions.
