Agni Veiga Series Intelligent Addressable Active Repeater Panel – 16 Node

The Intelligent Active Repeater Panel – 16 Node from the Agni Veiga Series is a microprocessor-based, intelligent addressable networked repeater designed to operate with a master fire alarm control panel. It provides real-time event monitoring, remote control functionality, and a large graphical LCD display, making it suitable for industrial, commercial, institutional, and government fire alarm applications.

Description

The Agni Veiga Intelligent Active Repeater Panel – Node is engineered to extend visibility and control of addressable fire alarm systems across distributed locations.Connected to a master control panel, the repeater displays all system events including alarms, faults, and status conditions across the entire network.
Designed with a robust IP30 mild steel enclosure, the panel is externally powered from the main control panel or UPS, ensuring stable operation and reliability. Its large graphical LCD with adjustable font size & backlight allows clear viewing and easy navigation through system menus.

The repeater panel supports remote evacuation, mute buzzer, silence, and reset functions, enabling quick operational response during emergency conditions. An internal event log capacity of 4000 events with time and date stamping ensures complete traceability and system diagnostics.

Using Agni Veiga Protocol networking, the repeater supports communication distances of up to 1.2 km per network Length, making it ideal for small to medium installations as well as large networked fire alarm systems. Compliance with BS EN 54-2, EN 54-4, and IS 2189 ensures adherence to international and Indian fire safety standards.

Job to be Done

Primary Job

Enable remote monitoring and basic control of a fire alarm system without accessing the main control panel.

Safety Job

Ensure fast, reliable, and compliant fire alarm visibility and response from remote locations to protect life, property, and system integrity.

Functional Jobs

Display real-time fire alarm events and enable authorized remote actions such as evacuate, silence, mute, and reset without accessing the main control panel.

How it Works

How does the Agni Veiga Intelligent Active Repeater Panel Work?

The Intelligent Active Repeater Panel – 16 Node works by receiving real-time fire alarm data from a master fire alarm control panel and displaying it remotely. It allows authorized users to monitor events and perform essential control actions without accessing the main panel.

How the Intelligent Avtive Repeater Panel Operate?

1. Connection to Master Fire Alarm Panel

The repeater panel connects to the master control panel using Agni Veiga Protocol networking. Once connected, it continuously communicates with the main panel over the fire alarm network.

2. Real-Time Event Display

All system events such as fire alarms, faults, and system status are instantly displayed on the large size graphical LCD. Each event is shown with clear text and symbols for quick understanding.

3. Event Storage and History

The panel stores up to 4000 events in the internal memory. Each event is automatically recorded with time and date stamping, allowing easy review for audits, troubleshooting, and compliance.

4. Remote Fire Alarm Control

Authorized users can operate key functions directly from the repeater panel: Evacuate, Mute buzzer, Silence alarm, Reset system. These commands are securely sent back to the master control panel.

5. Continuous System Supervision

The repeater panel monitors network integrity and system health. Operational Earth fault monitoring helps detect wiring or grounding issues early, improving system reliability.

6. Power Supply and Reliability

The panel is powered by 28V DC from the main control panel auxiliary supply or UPS. This ensures stable operating during emergencies and power interruptions.

FAQ

What is an Intelligent Active Repeater Panel?

An Intelligent Active Repeater Panel is a networked display and control unit that mirrors events from a master fire alarm control panel. It shows alarms, faults, and system status in real time and allows authorized users to perform remote actions such as evacuation, silence, and reset.

The repeater panel connects to the master fire alarm control panel through a network using Agni Protocol. It continuously receives system data, Display all events on a graphical LCD, and allows remote control functions without affecting the core processing of the main panel.

Yes, The Intelligent Active Repeater Panel includes earth fault monitoring to enhance system safety and fault detection.

No. A repeater panel does not process alarms. It only displays events and sends control commands to the master fire alarm control panel
