A conventional fire alarm panel divides a building into zones and tells you which zone has a fire. The Agni 2-4 Zone Hybrid Panel does this on a microprocessor platform, so alarm processing, fault monitoring and notification control sit in one panel that is simple to install and easy for staff to read.

A conventional system, detectors and manual call points are wired in zones, and the panel tells you which zone is in alarm. The Agni Hybrid keeps that simple, proven approach and adds microprocessor control, a clear LCD and careful battery management.

It works with other brands standard smoke detectors, heat detectors, hooters and sounders, so you can specify it without locking a site into one device range. If you are comparing a 2 zone fire alarm panel against a 4 zone fire alarm panel, both share the same cabinet, display and operating logic.

The panel scans every zone automatically every 90 seconds and supervises field wiring for open and short circuits. Installation

Installation must be done by qualified personnel. Mount the panel 1.5 m to 1.8 m above floor level, fit a 4.7 kΩ end-of-line resistor at the last device on each zone, and keep cables away from high-voltage wiring. Disconnect mains and batteries before working inside the enclosure.
