Agni Instruments Engineers India Private Limited manufactures the AGNI-WLD Water Leak Detection System, designed to provide early warning of water leakage in sensitive areas such as server rooms, data centres, control rooms, equipment rooms, and other sensitive & critical installations.
Even a small water leak beneath a raised floor or near of equipment can cause significant damage to electrical and electronic systems, resulting in equipment failure. The AGNI-WLD system is designed to detect such leakage at an early stage and provide immediate warning .
system have microprocessor based intelligence in water leak detection panel, incorporating 12-bit embedded hardware and intelligent detection algorithms, with a specialised water leak detection sensing cable installed along floors, pipelines, cable trays, raised floors, or other areas requiring continuous monitoring.
The detected leakage condition and affected zone are displayed on the alphanumeric LCD display, enabling operators to quickly identify the location of the leakage.
The water leak detection cable continuously senses the presence of water. When water or leakage is detected, the system responds immediately and activates the programmed alarm output. The panel can operate its NAC output and relay contacts to activate external warning devices such as a 24 V DC sounder or strobe. The system provides two independent dry relay contacts: one dedicated to alarm activation and the other for fault indication.

When water touches the sensing cable, the panel responds immediately. It operates its alarm relay, drives a 24 V DC sounder or strobe, and shows the affected zone on the 16x2 display. Operators see both an audible and a visual alert and can send staff to the right spot. As part of Agni's range of fire detection equipment, the system supports data centre safetry and industrial safety programmes with one trusted manufacturer.

AGNI WLD Cable: Water Leakage Sensor Cable

The AGNI WLD CABLE is a yellow and black twisted pair, 3.5 mm in diameter, with stainless steel sensing elements in a PVC jacket. It detects water leaks under floors and in isolated plant rooms, and can also work as a rain detector to close windows automatically.

As a water leakage sensor, the cable resets by itself once dry. The datasheet states that it uses an isolated AC excitation signal, which avoids the oxidation and erosion problems common with DC sensing. Use it with the matching AGNI WLD interface as specified at order.

A heavy-duty 6.3 mm stereo plug terminates the cable. An ABS bracket and a pack of 20 fixing clips are available as accessories.

ABS bracket with a pack of 20 fixing clips to hold the cable in place along its route. The detector swivels on the bracket and is secured with a wing nut.

AGNI 410 Sounder Beacon

A leak alarm only helps if people notice it. The AGNI Sounder Beacon combines a flashing red LED with an electronic sounder in one compact unit, so staff are alerted even when they are away from the panel, wearing PPE, or in a noisy plant room.

It runs on 9 to 28 V DC, so it works from the 24 V DC alarm output of the AGNI-WLD water leak detection panel. At 101 dB at 1 metre it carries across server halls and plant rooms. A 93 mm diameter fits busy panels and mounting points, and 32 selectable tones let you give a leak its own sound, distinct from your fire alarm.

The ABS housing is rated IP54 and IP64, and the unit works from -10°C to +45°C, which suits industrial areas, schools and offices.
